Yes, everything works for now except one route.  

For some reason, I am finding that nodes will dump the routing table on occasion, so I have to re-add my route command.

Current setup:

Node connected to AMPRnet 6Ghz link, as mesh GW

PC attached to that node can access AMPR but not Internet.  Still trying to figure out routing for that one back to the second node that has Internet GW.

Second node has Internet GW, and route command to tell all 44.0.0.0 traffic to go out through the first node, but Internet traffic to go out the Internet GW on itself.

PC attached to second node has access to both AMPRnet and Internet.

So my only issue is, HOW to tell the first node that is connected to the AMPRnet to route all Internet traffic out the Second mesh node that is an Internet GW..

ANy ideas?

All works now.  (kind of.)

Trick is to add a route to the AMPRnet node to all other nodes.

Add a route to Internet node to all other nodes.

THe only problem is it does not like  a general route because that would include the 44 net.

So I need to figure out a route add command that includes everything EXCEPT the 44 subnet.

Does anyone know where the routing rules are set at boot time?   I would like to put it there and forget about it.

Well it all works great, except every time I reboot any of the routers, I have to Manually put the routing rules back in. 

WHERE in NVRAM or JFFS2 can I put the router rules so that they apply automatically at boot time???

Thanks!!   THat worked for keeping my route commands persistent across reboots!!   Yay!

However, I spoke too soon about everything working, I unfortunately Upgraded to BBHN ver 3 from ver 1, on all my devices, and now the routing rules I was using don't work.  :(

Actually it's weird.  It's kind of one way.

On the BBHN router that has the WAN port connected to 44.net stuff works with accessing both hosts on the 44 side and on the Internet thru the other BBHN router that has it's WAN port connected to the Internet.

On this router I have: route add -net 255.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 gateway W5LMM-HSMM-2 dev wl0

And on the router that the Internet is connected to the WAN port but needs to access the 44 net THRU the previous router, I have:  route add -net 44.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 gateway W5LMM-HSMM-1 dev wl0

But I can't ping any of the 44.net hosts.  However on W5LMM-HSMM-1, I can.

Don't know why it stopped working, but I assume it has to do with the v1 to v3 change.
