Hi,
I have spend countless hours on this ever since I read this post:
http://www.broadband-hamnet.org/applications-for-the-mesh/118-internet-relay-chat-irc.html
I have no problems running one ngircd node. However, no matter how much I've tweaked the config files, re-flashed, and pulled out my remaining hair, when I start up the two servers I get this:
Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.info ngircd[18578]: Connection 8 (socket 8) with "10.141.213.214:6667" established. Now logging in ... Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.notice ngircd[18578]: Got ERROR from "!@10.141.213.214": "Bad password"! Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.info ngircd[18578]: 10.141.213.214:6667 (10.141.213.214) is closing the connection ... Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.info ngircd[18578]: Shutting down connection 8 (Socket closed!) with 10.141.213.214:6667 ... Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.notice ngircd[18578]: Client unregistered (connection 8): Socket closed! Sep 5 11:44:20 KW4WP-W00 local1.info ngircd[18578]: Connection 8 with 10.141.213.214:6667 closed (in: 0.0k, out: 0.1k).
And that's the problem ... "bad password". But they aren't wrong and I've tried lots of them. The internet seems to have no info on this, just on clients logging in with passwords. Any help would be appreciated!
