Dear Members,

I read in the press release that the new firmware would work in the

Ubiquiti Bullet M2 HP.  I am assuming that it won't work in the M2

that is not High Power.   If this is correct .. then I will save up a few

more pennies for the HP model.  Thanks to all for the hard work in

converting this piece of equipment over to the Broadband Hamnet

version 1 softare.  I have been waiting until you were done to jump

into this MESHNET game.  I better get my order in quickly as I suspect

they will go fast as soon as the word gets out.

Dave,
That is correct. The Bullet M2 (non-HP) does not have enough space. Best save up for the M2-HP.

I have a Nanostation M2. THe Nanostation "LOCO" M2 is listed as the one supported. From what I have been able to figure out on Ubiquity's site is the NS M2 is a higher powered version over the "loco" Will this hardware be supported? Is it the same other than power? Thanks

The release will require 32MB memory and 8MB flash. We will list all the tested devices with the release. It may work with minor inconveniences on other UBNT devices that meet the minimum memory requirements. We will evaluate these other devices as time permits and people are willing to describe their experiences. The bottom line is... wait and try it on Feb 1st Andre, K6AH

Just wondering if future releases of the Ubiquiti HSMM firmware will allow ham to select channels outside of the shared noisy Part 15 space?
