I have been utilizing these features. On a short 3 mile 2.4 GHz link through a college campus we had frequent drop outs with the standard channel width. We switched to a 10 MHz wide channel and centered it on 2407 MHz (channel 0) and have never lost connection since. Present Link Quality=23/94 Signal level=-73 dBm Noise level=-96 dBm Same thing with a pair of XR9, 900 MHz radios. Dropouts till I went to a 10 MHz wide channel. Sadly looking at the link stats before and after really doesn't tell you much, unless you can catch it when the link is down.

Natively BBHN firmware does not yet support it. Other firmwares do. See this thread:

All:

Please help us maintain an efficient environment by keeping threads on topic and starting new threads for new discussions.

This is the developers forum for discussions BBHN Development related issues and this thread is specifically a Request For Feedback about the use of 5/10MHz Channels and the effect on SNR and LQ.

Topics need to stay on subject for the developers to be able to quickly find the information related to subjects they are researching, the assistance of all in keeping topics on subject will greatly increase the probability of developers receiving the information they need to enhance the BBHN builds.
