Well I created 2 nodes, Node A and Node B which both see each other and I can configure.

On Node A I have my laptop plugged into a LAN port 1.

On Node I have a video camera plugged into a LAN port 1.

Node A addressing was assigned 10.67.65.234 to 238.

Node B addressing was assigned 10.247.84.202 to 206.

On Node B where the camera is I port forwarded each IP address 8100, 8101, 8102 etc. both directions.

In the camera itself I changed the internal IP to 10.247.84.202 port 8100.

Now at the laptop, logged into Node A in the port forwarding area I don't see a lease pop up for the camera for one thing, and if I address that node in Mozilla it wont connect? What am I doing wrong here guys I have tried various port calls from the Node A side, 80, 8080, 8100 etc nothing? Reading some of the write ups I see the addressing 172.x.x.x which I assume was from a previous revision of MESH?

The camera originally had an address of 192.168.1.64 port 80.

Have you tried 5 host direct, plugging the camera in (with default settings) and pointing your web browser to the assigned IP address of the camera? It should be just as simple as plug-and-play. I will say that there are some things on this website that point or reference the old versions. You can still use the documentation by changing the BBHN node to NAT mode instead of 3 Host Direct.

Ok got it to work I had to switch both nodes over to NAT mode which changed all the addressing but no big deal.

Plugged the camera in and I got a DHCP lease that came up on 172.27.0.5.

Created a port forward at the camera node "Outside 8100, 127.27.0.5, Lan Port 80.

Connected to the camera with NODE-B:8100 and it was video! Awesome!
