I am having trouble with a wrt54g v1 router. Everything appears to be ok but it will not display the "yellow box" info and will not go to local node:8080. I have tried updating the factory firmware and downloaded numerous times. Fustratiion. Can anyone help? Thanks.

After you have done the firmware update, have you released your local adapter and then refreshed it. You should have an IP on your computer of 172.27.0.5 then try and connect to the localnode:8080. Just a thought, hope it helps Andrew NT5LA

Thanks for the response. It has the IP 172.27.0.5 but when I connect to localnode:8080 it responds with done, and does nothing else. I know I am very close.

When it tells you that it is done, does it look like a linksys page or something else?

Try holding the reset button down for about 15 seconds then connecting to the node. Can you give me screen shots of what you see?
