Hi folks:

Last full free day of 2011 myself, KB8JXX and N6SPP set up four v0.4.2 mesh nodes and put them on the Internet with an AT&T Wimax service. This is all happening at the KL7AA shack www.kl7aa.net.

Next step is to put one of these up on the Hillside of the city for the best LOS for the area and do some site surveys. Additionally I would like to vpn to other nodes including Craig, K1BDX in Houston as well as have the IRLP node work through the mesh using one of the three Internet providers I have available to me: DSL, Wimax and Hughesnet.

Regards,

Hi Rich,

I am new on hsmm-mesh. I like what I see and will be intersting in hearing more about your project as it develops.

I have access to equipment and am going to study this a bit along with testing etc.

I look forward to the adventure with the help of other folks.

I'm also looking forward to setting up several nodes in my area (Northeastern Ohio), and being able to link them to other nodes in other parts of the country. I'm also thinking about working with a ham I know in Pennsylvania to link one or more nodes to mine via RF. Hope to be doing these things soon. Matthew Pitts N8OHU
